We twa hae paidl'd in the burn
Frae morning sun till dine
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin auld lang syne

- Rabbie Burns, "Auld Lang Syne"

Translation:
(we two have paddled in the stream)
(from morning sun (noon) until dinner-time) (but seas between us broad have roared)
(since old long ago)

Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind?

I should hope not. And in addition, I propose we all make some new "acquaintances."

I've suggested over at MeetUp.com that February 2nd (and the first Saturday of each month thereafter) be the International Wraith Meetup Day.

So, if all goes as planned, there will be an oblivion.meetup.com sometime over the next few weeks.

What's a Meetup? It's where a bunch of people from all over who share similar interests gather at pre-defined places and "meet up" to talk about similar interests. In this case, Wraith: The Oblivion.

  • Looking for a troupe?
  • Looking for fellow players?
  • Looking for a Story Teller?
  • Want to trade books?
  • Want to find someone who's actually played Oblivion?
  • Want to find someone who's actually seen the Wraith Dice?
  • Want to ask for advice on running your Chronicle from some of
    us "old dogs"?
  • Want to dole out some knowledge to some of these
    whipper-snappers?
  • Are you just a fan?

Then on the first Saturday of the month, MeetUp!

Again, sometime over the next week, there should be an oblivion.meetup.com Go there and sign up to meet other Wraith fans in your area. And if there's no one in your area yet, don't be afraid to sign up anyway, someone has to be the first

February 2nd: A holiday where the future is determined by a Shadow. A holiday for Wraith.
